Period. I'm tired and resentful of Hollywood remaking everything that was good because they can't come up with anything better. (They're remaking Overboard with Jennifer Lopez playing Goldie Hawn's character for Godsake! Blech.) If you want to take a lesser known film that hasn't already made it's mark in the world, fine. But leave the classics (cult or legitimate) alone. I don't care if technology can make it look cooler or you've got a fresh new take on it, it's been done. And it was already done well enough to make people love it. That being said, I'll probably still go see this in the theater, and hate myself for doing so... Personally, I’m sick of remakes. Period.
